Bear is a native of Abingdon, VA where he lives on his family’s beef cattle and sheep farm. He grew up learning about the importance of hard work, character, integrity, and community. That is why his clients are given the utmost service and treated like family.

Bear is a graduate of Abingdon High School, Liberty University, and Emory & Henry College where he earned degrees in Business Administration and Education. Bear has served as a congressional staffer as well as a marketing education instructor where he trains students in those same marketing and customer service skills that he believes in. Furthermore, Bear is a graduate of the prestigious Worldwide College of Auctioneering and was trained by some of the nation’s top auctioneers.

In addition, Bear believes in community. He has served as Vice Chair of Virginia Farm Bureau’s State Young Farmers Committee and currently sits on the Virginia Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation’s Board of Directors. Bear also serves in many youth related roles giving back to the young people in his hometown.
